Multidisciplinary Services


Multidisciplinary services in the area of mental disabilities are basically in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, diagnosis, education, various therapies such as speech, occupational therapy & physiotherapies and provision of essential medicines. All of these various disciplines need to come together in order to fully and correctly assess persons with mental disabilities.

These services are difficult to come by and are not available at one single point. Kenya Society for the Mentally Handicapped has taken the initiative to provide such services at one place and at a subsidized rate. You can partner with us to provide these services. The cost of full assessment for a mentally disabled person is Shs.15,000/-. The period of assessment is over 3-4 months.
